“Right On Time”
A fine watch is not just a timepiece, it’s a fashion accessory. Much like a good manicure for your hands, it is important to accessorize your wrist with a sleek watch. It’s not so much functional these days as it is a statement piece in which reflects your personal style. I mean, with the ubiquitous smart phone glued to our hands, who needs a wrist watch to tell the time?
The watches on my radar right now are the oversized & classic Daniel Wellington, The Horse and Larsson Jennings watches, where minimalism reigns supreme. The distinguishing detail of these watches are their clean designs, thin, refined and perfectly round faces which exude their signature, minimalist style.
They aren’t just for your 9-5, these watches do a double shift and mingle well with your #armparty accessories for the perfect finishing touch.

The Boater vs. The Panama
Redolent of days of yore, Boater hats are this summer’s answer to classic elegance.
Typically a straw, flat brim, flat top hat with a grosgrain ribbon around the crown, the boater style has lived on through the decades; from popular maritime head wear in the late 19th century through the prosperous ‘Gatsby’ era of the Golden Age Twenties to a symbol of privilege as compulsory school attire in the modern day.
The boater hat’s interesting journey of symbolism has landed in this decade as a nostalgic summer accessory, for those opting to sport this classic piece.
Pair with a stripe tee, denim shorts and oxfords for more casual, nautical beach style or with a lace smock and sandals, for a style reminiscent of countryside picnics and games of croquet.
Panama hats, hailing from Ecuador, contrary to where the name suggests, are a summer wardrobe staple. Again a straw hat, but crafted in a lighter more flexible material. Personally my choice for street-cred this season, the panama is an easy addition to any outfit. It offers the perfect shade whilst soaking up some rays beach-side or as a statement accoutrement to your summer maxi or, denim cut-offs and espadrilles.
Be it boater or panama, invest in one now, as it will serve you well over the next couple of months!

Amp it up this Summer with an intense pop of colour. In this case, peachy corals are a MUST. Take your colour cue from Cara Delevingne, she sure knows how to rock a vibrant pout!
Minimal make up is best (foundation a must) when opting for bold lips, you want your lips to be the centre of attention. For after-dark, sweep on a winged liner for added drama.
Chanel’s Pimpante offers a fail-safe peachy tone for those after a more subtle shade of peach, whilst Avon UCR Bold and Two Faced Melted is high-pigment colour for those making a statement.
Exfoliate your lips first to smooth the surface, then apply with a lip brush. Layer for more intense colour!
